Cut The Cheese.....ummm, literally
So i'm trying to give up cheese. So far i'm doing pretty well. It's going to be
pretty hard because that's what i've used to substitute my meals with. But I just can't conciously do it anymore. I feel too guilty. I am directly supporting the slaughter of innocent
beings when I use ANYTHING from them.
So I must stop.
This is a battle I am willing to go through. I should at least try. I can't be dissapointed if I know I gave it my all. I am aware that this is a complete lifestyle change and that the world is espceially unfriendly to vegans. I will be as strict as possible in commiting myself to stopping the abhorrent tragedies imposed upon these helpless creatures. However, this change won't be sudden due to the complexities of this change, I will smoothly transition, any milk derived products I have purchased are either being given to my sig. other or I am reluctantly consuming until the tainted supply is depleted. I've already obtained a list of vegan foods that are easy to find. This morning I had a strawberry pop tart (VEGAN) and it was yummy after not having eaten it for several years.

I also plan on attending and/or organizing more animal rights and rescue efforts

On a lighter note, I got the environmental science class, so yay!

P.S. I will so miss cheesecake, Godiva... and grilled cheese sandwiches
